Heron Lakes New Clubhouse

NW Golf Guys was at the unveiling of the new clubhouse concepts at Heron Lakes Golf Course, and it looks like they will have a great looking new clubhouse there when its ready to go. There are four concepts on where to place the clubhouse, and the best option places the clubhouse between Greenback and Great Blue. We all know it can be a hike to Great Blue, so that should be an improvement. Can't wait to see the finished product. Ben Crane from Beaverton leading the Players

Ben Crane, former Beaverton Beaver and Oregon Duck is in the lead at the Players Championship after the first round. Crane shot a 65 to hold a one shot lead at 7-under. Keep it up Ben! As an added NW bonus, Ben marks his ball with the University of Oregon "O". Check it out:

Heron Lakes Open House

Heron Lakes Golf Course will be having an open house for anybody interested in the construction plans of their new clubhouse. For years they have had a small clubhouse, and are now building a facility a bit more befitting of the quality of the course itself. For anybody interested, the open house will be held on May 13th from 6:30-8:30pm. Members of KemperSports, as well as the design team will be there to answer any questions you may have. NW Golf Guys will be there, hope to see you there!
