Portland Golf Show

Well, I was originally going to do a video blog of the Portland Golf Show, but I was so busy meeting and greeting the fine members of the golf community, that I didn't get enough footage to put a video together. I may post a video of the line, because that was crazy. Anybody there on Friday morning can attest to that. The first 1000 people in the door received a free sleeve of Bridgestone balls, and we unfortunately were not in the lucky 1000. I guess we should have gotten there earlier. The biggest booths in the Convention Center belonged to the pro shops. Camas Meadows had a pretty large area, as did Fiddlers Green from Eugene. There was also a big Outdoor Kitchen area set up dead center. Outside of the major manufacturers, there didn't seem to be alot of accessories there. There were a few companies that had some neat products though, look out for a few products reviews on our site in the near future. The real stars of the show were the local courses. Every course representative we met were great! We had some fantastic conversations with quite a few Head Pros and Course Managers that should lead to some great content added to our site in the near future. Overall, I thought they put on a great show, and look for the NWGolfGuys.com booth at the 2010 Golf Show!
