Course: Camas Meadows Golf Club
Hole: #9
Yardage: 563 yards
As you pull up to Hole #9 at Camas Meadows Golf Club, you know you
are in for a treat. With Mount Hood in the distance, it is one of the most picturesque holes in the entire region. Be prepared to pull out your big
stick, because you have a long way to go from the tee box to the green.
Only the heaviest of hitters will be able to reach this green in two. While the tendency on this long par 5 is to want to hit the ball as far as you can, be warned. The fairway looks mighty inviting, but there is little room for error. From 200 yards and in the fairways are lined with bunkers, making your second shot plenty difficult as well. If you are lucky enough to be in the fairway sitting three, you will have a managable approach shot. Make sure your ball does not stray left though, or you will be fishing a new one out of your bag. As if your first 3 shots have not been difficult enough, the green on this hole is your final challenge. Very quick and very difficult to read, many
a three jack has been seen on this hole. From the views to the degree of difficulty, Hole #9 at Camas Meadows is one of the best in the Northwest.
