Course: Salem Golf Club
Hole: #4
Yardage: 389 yards
Welcome to the signature hole at Salem Golf Club, where accuracy is the most important aspect of your game. You may want to consider leaving your
driver in the bag, because anything left or right is almost a sure wasted shot. Old growth trees line the fairway, and will most likely need to punch out to get a look at the green if you end up here. If you choose to hit your driver and hit it straight, you will be rewarded with a very managable second shot considering the hole is not extremely long. But watch out, as the green is heavily guarded by water in the front, and forest if you are long. Leave the ball short of the green, and your ball has a tendency to trickle back to the pond, especially in the summer months. The green is not entirely difficult, but considering the challenges leading up to it, if you get to the green in one
piece you deserve a break. Play this hole straight and smart, and you can score well on a challenging hole.
