The 4th Hole at Chehalem Glenn Golf Course in Newberg is a long, challenging Par 5, which while tough, is a very scorable hole. From the tee box, you have no look at the green. The first half of the hole is uphill, and even the heaviest hitters will have a hard time clearing the hill. That means typically your second shot is also blind. To make matters worse, the entire right side of the fairway is lined with trees, and there is very little room past the fairway. Most pushes will result in a lost ball. Most players will need to play this as a three shot hole, depending on your tee box of choice. If you successfully manage your first two shots, you should have less than 100 yards on your approach. If the pin is back, play your shot above the hole. If the pin is at the front of green, your preferred shot is below the hole. Stick that, and its a very manageable green. Miss it the wrong way, and you have alot of work to do. Hit the right shots, and this is a bridie hole.
