A monster of a hole, as well as the most recognized on the course, the 12th Hole at Crosswater Golf Club is one that you will remember as long as you play the game. Making par here is a thrill than is hard to match, since it takes so many aspects of your game to pull it off. From the tips, the hole is just shy of 700 yards, and if there was ever a three shot hole, this is it. The entire length of the hole bends around the Deschutes River, leaving any miss to the left wet. In addition, the entire right side of the fairway from 300 yards in is guarded by bunkers, making length and accuracy important with every shot. If you happen to leave yourself an acceptable approach shot, the gree is fairly long, but built in a way that intentionally brings the water into play from most angles. With the size of the green, a 60-70 foot putt with plenty of break could be awaiting. If you have the chance to play Crosswater, there are plenty of reasons to seize the oppurtunity, and the 12th Hole may be the
most compelling.
