The folks at TRUE Linkswear have done it again with their second shoe, the Stealth. Similar in form, fit and function to the first TRUE Linkswear shoe, the Stealth changes the look and feel of the original without jeopardizing the intent of the shoe. Comfort is still king, and TRUE Linkswear has mastered the art with the Stealth. Also based on the barefoot platform that has made TRUE’s such a huge hit, the new look Stealth blends in easily at the office, Happy Hour or on the course.
Utilizing both the rain swept winters at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and the sweltering heat of an Arizona summer as their testing grounds, TRUE Linkswear shoes are designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. TRUE's are designed with a spikeless design that provide stability without anchoring you down during your swing. The Stealth's thin sole provides offers particular value around the green, where every contour can be felt beneath you. TRUE’s are the lightest shoe played on the PGA Tour, and for those of us caddy-less amateurs, this is a cherished feature while carrying a bag for 18 holes.
While the technology doesn’t change, there are significant changes in the design when comparing the Stealth to the original TRUE tours. The biggest difference is the leather, now a premium oiled leather available in black and brown. The leather is slightly distressed, creating a modern look while still giving a nod back to a past era. The side saddle has been removed, replaced by a capped toe. A flap at the heel of the shoe adds a nice touch to finish off the Stealth’s classic look. The Stealth also provides a flatter toe box than the tour, making it an even more natural platform than the original.
The TRUE Stealth can adapt to any environment. The Stealth can be worn on the golf course, without the need to change shoes post round. They are stylish enough to be worn out on the town, and professional enough to be worn with slacks at the office. Most people would never guess that you are wearing a golf shoe when they look at the Stealth. In terms of aesthetics, TRUE has hit a home run with the Stealth.
